Our family had an unforgettable stay at Hilton London Heathrow Airport recently. We are a family of four; two adults and two children. We chose the family connecting room, that offered us the space and comfort that we needed. The family connecting room is a double bedroom and a twin room that are interconnected. This provided us with the privacy and space we needed, making it a great choice for our family.
On arrival, we found the adult's room was designed with a luxurious Hilton Serenity double bed, combined with a very spacious and modern design. The room showcased an illuminated Europe map on the wall, a fifty inch HDTV and a sleek marble counter that wrapped around the room. The marble counter was elegant, yet very functional, offering us plenty of space to put our belongings down. The built in wardrobe offered storage space for all our items, enabling us to keep our suitcases and belongings packed away and not compromising our living space.
The en-suite bathroom was luxurious, boasting a full sized bath and shower. There were complimentary Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries, adding an indulgent and luxurious touch to our stay. Overall, the bathroom was well-designed, adding to the spacious and modern feel of the guest room.
The children were delighted with their room, that boasted two single Hilton Serenity beds that were covered in the most beautiful bee-themed duvets, adding a fun element to the room design. The hotel had gone out of their way, knowing it was our son's birthday, and had taken the time to place birthday balloons in the room, as a welcome to him. He felt so special. One of the beds had two bee teddy bears and a towel, that was wrapped in the shape of a birthday cake. The children were completed in awe of their welcome and they felt special and welcome.
The bee theme is not only kept in the room, it is the theme of the hotel. Daisy the Bee can be found throughout the hotel, showing a commitment to the hotel's sustainability programme. The hotel has four beehives with over one hundred and sixty thousand bees. They produce their own honey. This showcases Hilton London Heathrow Airport's dedication to the environment.
The kids guest room had lovely views that overlooked the hotel's reception area, where we could watch the OXBO Café and OXBO Kitchen below. The children spent a lot of time gazing out at the view, watching people coming and going.
The en-suite bathroom in the children's bedroom was different to the adult's bathroom. It was also modern and luxurious, offering a walk in shower, rather than a bath. It also provided luxurious Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries, giving the children a sense of importance, as they received the same complimentary toiletries that we had in our bathroom.
We found the family connecting room spacious and well-suited for our family. As a family of four, we enjoy having our own space when on holiday and this room provided this and ore. The children had their own room, where they could play and relax, while we enjoyed the privacy and tranquillity of our own dedicated room. The design of the space has been thought out, enabling families to enjoy quality time together, while also providing you with some privacy when you need it.
We all enjoyed our time at Hilton London Heathrow Airport. From the design of the family connecting room to how they make our son feel so special on his birthday. Their dedication to sustainability is refreshing and our children loved the Daisy Bee theme that was seen throughout the hotel during our stay.
As a family of our, we highly recommend the family connecting room at London Heathrow Airport, as it offers a blend of space and luxury with modern amenities that is ideal for adults and children.
