When we think of celebrities flying to their exotic destinations or glamorous events across the globe, we always picture them lounging in first-class comfort, champagne in hand, without a care in the world.

This might be the case, but only for some.

The truth is, a surprising number of our favourite stars are battling a secret fear of flying. Well, maybe not a “secret” anymore as many of them have openly shared having this phobia.

In this article, we review some celebrities you probably never thought would land on this list.

Jennifer Aniston, America's sweetheart and star of the iconic TV show "Friends," is not only known for her infectious smile and seemingly unflappable demeanour, but also the fact that she is afraid to fly!

Despite having a global lifestyle, attending film festivals and promotional events around the world, each flight is a challenge for her. However, she assures her fans that she has developed her own rituals that help her cope and manage her fears.

Megan Fox

Megan Fox is another many people’s favourite, known for her roles in blockbuster hits like "Transformers" and "Jennifer's Body". While she is portrayed as a fearless and formidable presence on screen, Megan also has a real fear of flying.

To manage her fears, the star has mentioned that she tries to find distractions, such as using scripts and diving into her work to mentally block out the fear. She has also discussed the importance of mental preparation before flights, gearing herself up to handle the anxiety.

Remarkably, in 2021, Travis Barker took a monumental step in overcoming his fear by flying again for the first time since the crash. This decision was influenced by his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian.
