Azka Otel caters to their younger guests with an engaging and entertaining Kids Club, providing supervised entertainment to children aged four to twelve. Open daily from 10am to 5pm, they do extend their hours during peak season to 9pm. The kids club can be found on the ground floor, just next to the tennis courts. Note children under the age of four are welcome in the kids club when supervised by a parent. Azka Otel also takes teenagers into consideration, offering a Teens Club, known as Azka Hangout, offered to guests aged thirteen to seventeen.
Parents can rest assure their children are in safe hands when leaving them at the kids club at Azka Otel. There are three supervisory staff on site throughout the day, this includes an English speaking lead and two assistants. Children are provided with colour-coded wristbands based on their age group, there is a first aider on-site, and the outdoor areas are fully shaded with UV protection. In order to ensure safety and security at all times, there is a strict sign in and sign out procedure and parents may be provided with a pager.
This kids club has been well-designed, comprising of an forty square metre indoor air conditioned space, and a thirty square metre outdoor shaded playground area. They also provide fresh fruit at 11am and yoghurt cups at 4pm. Ensure the team know if your child has any allergies or intolerances, so they can arrange a gluten-free, or dairy-free option, if required. Teens can enjoy table tennis and gaming tournaments daily from 5pm to 8pm. The indoor area is brightly coloured and dotted with tables and chairs for games and arts and crafts. There is also a soft ball pit inside. Outdoors includes a large playground with a choice of slides, all securely fenced and safe.
The kids club at Azka Otel provides children with scheduled activities, along with plenty of free play time, where they can socialise and make new friends with other children staying at the hotel. While the daily schedules change on a regular basis, they often consist of painting seashells, nature crafts, bug hunts, supervised pool games, Turkish puppets and folk-tales, and a film night, complete with age-appropriate animated films and popcorn.
Other activities may include friendship bracelet making, sand art bottles, mini basketball tournaments, and bean bag toss, along with relay games. They also hold themed activities, such as Mermaid Day that includes seashell crown making and a photo booth, along with Superhero Training, which is a fun obstacle course. There is no shortage of games for children to enjoy when at the kids club at Azka Otel, including PlayStation 4, tablets with educational games, Jenga, and twister. This kids club is divided into areas that includes a reading nook, craft corner, sandpit and mini slide. While kids love their time at this supervised kids club, it also provides parents with the opportunity to enjoy the adult facilities of the hotel, knowing children are safe, entertained, and secure.
