Exploring the Pools and Water Fun at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

Our family had a fantastic time staying at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, especially when it came to exploring the pools and the water features. The resort boasts five heated pools, so there is always a perfect spot to swim, no matter the temperature.

We loved drifting along the two lazy rivers, which were perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun, while the kids were the most excited about the water slides. With so many ways to enjoy the water, there was always something fun for everyone in the family to dive into.

Arrival and Initial Impressions

When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made check-in fast and easy. We were instantly impressed by the resort's large, open layout and gorgeous green surroundings.

The lush landscaping and beautiful scenery made us excited for the stay ahead, and made it clear right from the start that this was going to be a memorable trip.

Main Pool and Lazy River at Tower Five

Our adventure began at the main pool next to the hotel, which was always lively and full of energy. They loved the oasis pool which they spent lots of time in.

The kids also were thrilled with the large pool area and the nearby lazy river at Tower Five. We all grabbed some inner tubes and floated along the winding lazy river, soaking in the pretty scenery and relaxing in the shaded spots. The lazy river starts in a shallow pool, so it is perfect for everyone, no matter their age. It was a great way for us to unwind and have fun together.

The Pirate Ship Pool

Next up was the Pirate Ship Pool, also called the Tribulation. This was especially a big hit with the kids. They loved the pirate-themed water slide, spending hours splashing around and zooming down the slide over and over again.

The pool was also designed like a pirate ship, with many interactive water features that kept the children busy and entertained for hours too.

Quiet Pools and the Escudos Bar

When we needed a break from all the excitement, we visited the quieter pool near Tower Four and Five. This pool was much less crowded and gave us a nice, peaceful retreat from the busier areas. We really appreciated the calm atmosphere, which was perfect for kicking back and relaxing.

While there, we grabbed some tasty snacks and refreshing drinks from the nearby Escudos Bar and enjoyed them by the pool. The serene setting made it a great spot for some downtime and recharge before heading back to the fun and games.

Puerto DeLeon Pool and Lazy River

The largest pool we discovered was the Puerto DeLeon at Club Wyndham, and it quickly became our favourite spot. This area had another lazy river that was just as fun as the first.

The pool area was huge, with lots of lounge chairs, a big splash pad, and a water play zone, making it perfect for families with kids of all ages.

While our children were having a blast going between the lazy river and the splash pad, we enjoyed lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun and relaxing.

Additional Amenities and Activities

Besides the amazing pools, the resort has a bunch of other fun activities to keep everyone entertained. We enjoyed the miniature golf course, the playground, and the various sports courts scattered throughout the property.

Every moment was filled with joy and laughter, and the resort’s beautiful setting and all the great amenities made it even more special. We are already looking forward to coming back for more family fun, and definitely recommend that you check it out too.
