Our accommodation for the stay was a Deluxe King Suite, a choice that promised luxury and did not disappoint. As we stepped into the suite, the first room we encountered was the lounge area, an impressively spacious living room designed to cater to both relaxation and dining. The suite's modern decor, with its stylish and contemporary aesthetic, was immediately welcoming.
The lounge area was furnished with a 6-seater dining table, perfectly positioned under a stunning light fixture that became a focal point of the room. Alongside this, a two-piece sofa set offered comfortable seating. Notably, the sofa transformed into a bed, providing an ideal sleeping solution for our young children. It was a thoughtful touch that made the suite feel like a home away from home.
The room’s design was complemented by stylish pieces of art adorning the walls, each adding character and charm to the space. The attention to detail in the suite’s decor was evident, with modern and fashionable carpets underfoot and a plethora of lamps strategically placed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
In a generous gesture of hospitality, the hotel had left us a bottle of Prosecco, some exquisitely cocoa-dusted truffles, and a personal note from guest relations. This personalised welcome made us feel truly spoilt and set the tone for our stay, underlining the Hilton Birmingham Metropole's commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
From the living area, we proceeded through a doorway into the master bedroom, a sanctuary of comfort and style. The room featured a luxurious king-sized bed, adorned with high-quality linens and flanked by contemporary fittings. A large, modern LG TV provided entertainment, while a desk offered a space for work or study, complemented by beautifully designed lamps that cast a soft, ambient light across the room.
The en suite bathroom was a revelation in luxury, boasting a separate bath and a walk-in shower. It was stocked with an array of premium Crabtree & Evelyn products, including shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, enhancing the feeling of indulgence that pervaded the suite.
The suite's layout was ideally suited for our family of four, providing ample space and privacy. The children were delighted with their own area in the living room, complete with a sofa bed, while we adults appreciated the seclusion and comfort of the master bedroom. The design of the suite perfectly balanced shared family spaces with private areas, ensuring a harmonious stay for all.
