Hilton Birmingham Metropole Executive Club Lounge Experience

While staying at the luxurious Hilton Birmingham Metropole, our guest accommodation provided us with complimentary access to the executive club lounge, located in the lobby level. This large executive club lounge offers a tranquil space for guests to enjoy drinks throughout the day, along with evening canapés and alcoholic beverages. We enjoyed a buffet breakfast that was served from 7am to 10am and took full advantage of the evening canapés and cocktails that included hot food selections from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, the perfect pre-dinner option before heading to one of the hotels on-site restaurants.

We chose to try the evening service in the lounge on one evening. On arrival, the first thing to catch our eye was the warm and welcoming feel that the lounge presented. It was an inviting ambience with a contemporary design. The space has been well-designed to provide you with tranquil space, accommodating around twenty tables. There was no shortage of seating with guests mulling around enjoying some quiet time, enjoying refreshments, and a few business people working on their laptops. This executive club lounge has been carefully designed, boasting a blue and orange theme, that is showcased by the beautiful oak flooring. The lighting enhances the the space, bouncing off the white tables, providing a light and bright space.

We arrived a little early, that was to our benefit, as we were able to choose a well-positioned table next to the floor to ceiling windows. The lounge quickly filled with guests, arriving to take advantage of the evening canapés and drinks. The staff soon filled the food counter with a wide choice of culinary delights, including two hot dishes that included hoisin duck spring rolls and vegetable pakoras. There was no shortage of cold cuts, including cheeses and grapes, vegetable cocktail sticks, all beautifully presented to perfection. The perfect pre-dinner canapé selection.

In addition to the wonderful evening food selection, there was a host of refreshments to choose from. Two bottles of alcohol were prominently displayed, while the fridge was overflowing with a choice of beers and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from. There was also a choice of tea, along with a coffee machine.

As it got closer to 6pm, the lounge filled up becoming a hive of activity. Even with more guests streaming through the door, the service remained professional and attentive. There were three staff members that made their way through the space, meeting their guests needs with seamless efficiency. The attentive service definitely contributed to the experience of the executive club lounge. The entire team was friendly, professional, and attentive at all times, even during the busiest times.

This executive club lounge balances comfort with sophisticated. While the evening service is designed as a pre-dinner experience, there was such a wide selection of dishes that were constantly being topped up by the staff, we had to be careful not to overindulge, as we were headed for an evening meal in the restaurant. The chefs took great care not only in the presentation, but in the freshness of the ingredients, blending flavours to excite our taste buds.

With access to the executive club lounge, we found it wasn't all about the food and drinks on offer. We found the space relaxing and the exclusivity made it comfortable and inviting. It is modern in design and the service was excellent, creating a memorable experience. It quickly became the place we would go after a day of exploring the sights to relax.

From the attention to detail to the modern décor and attentive service, we could see their dedication to excellence. It is a lounge where you don't only enjoy exclusive privileges, but you are treated with a level of service that is second to none.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the executive club lounge at Hilton Birmingham Metropole. The atmosphere of the lounge combined with the excellent food and beverage presentations, were something we will remember. It is luxurious and complements your stay at this luxury hotel.
