We recently stayed at the Hilton London Canary Wharf and were lucky to use the executive club lounge, which was a big highlight of our trip. The lounge is on the 14th floor of the hotel and has amazing views of Canary Wharf. It also offers many great amenities that made our stay even better.
If you have been wanting to stay at this hotel or just wondering how it looks or feels like, here is our experience. Hopefully, it will give you a comprehensive view of what to expect.
Let's start with the layout and ambience. The executive club lounge has a modern and welcoming design and is divided into different areas for various needs.
Right after the entrance, there is a cosy seating area with comfy sofas and a big TV, which makes it perfect for just relaxing, sipping on your favourite drink. Next to this area are dining tables where guests can enjoy their meals in a casual but stylish setting.
There is also a small workspace with a computer just in case you may need to catch up with work while at the lounge. This is especially helpful if you are a business traveller who needs a quiet place to work or check emails.
Besides the work-friendly ambience, the executive club lounge is also great for families. This means unlike many other lounges that you probably know, you can bring your kids here and there will be no problem at all.
We had fun watching how happy our kids were enjoying themselves. They had a great time and even found some board games to play. Having these fun options for children makes the lounge more enjoyable for everyone.
If you are all about drinks and refreshments, then you will enjoy the executive lounge. There is a variety of refreshments all day, including soft drinks such as tea, and coffee, as well as light snacks including biscuits and fruits, all available whenever you want a quick bite.
The best part yet is the evening service that starts at 6 pm all the way to 8 pm. They offer a wide range of drinks and foods including canapés and alcoholic drinks.
During our stay, the evening spread had vegetable gyoza, fish with tartar and sweet chilli sauces, assorted salads, bruschetta, various cheeses, cold cuts, vegetables, and biscuits. For drinks, there were wines, champagne, and different beers.
The staff at the executive club lounge made us want to stay even longer. They were always ready to help with anything, whether that was refilling food and drinks, giving local information, or making restaurant reservations.
They were highly attentive to our needs and always recommended the best options for anything we asked. Their professionalism made our experience even more comfortable, luxurious, and enjoyable.
Another important thing to note is that the lounge is usually open every day from 7 in the morning to 9 in the evening. This gives the guests more than enough time to enjoy it.
The big windows let in lots of natural light, making the space feel bright and airy, while the wooden floors and modern decor add to the entire stylish look.
Since the guests staying in executive rooms or suites are the ones who get exclusive access to this lounge, it makes a great spot for a more personalised experience.
Overall, the executive club lounge at the Hilton London Canary Wharf is a must-visit. If you happen to stay at this hotel, you can't afford to miss the experience.
The lounge welcomes everyone, whether it is a getaway with a loved one or a family adventure. The family-friendly atmosphere, excellent service, and modern amenities make it perfect for both families and business travellers who want a VIP experience and a relaxing place to enjoy some nice food and snacks.
