During our recent stay at the luxurious Hilton London Wembley, we chose to dine at The Association Restaurant. This is an in-house restaurant on the third floor of this luxury hotel. The restaurant boasts European dishes with a seasonal menu. Headed by Executive Chef Jasbeer Dawar, it offered an a la carte dinner experience that was simply sublime.
We were impressed by the sheer size of this elegant restaurant. It accommodates up to three hundred and fifty guests at any given time. The design offers comfort with elegance, complete with wooden flooring and carpeted areas. The light carpeting with red patterns adds a splash of colour to the restaurant, while the floor to ceiling windows provide spectacular Wembley Stadium views.
The walls are covered in mirrors of various sizes that bounce the light throughout the space, while we were in awe as we found more tables and chairs around every corner.
Our family of four was seated quickly at a comfortable table for four people with an experienced staff member that welcomed us with a smile and chatted away, making us all feel comfortable from the start. The staff were all smiling and cheerful, ensuring that they provided us with the best dining experience.
Immediately, the children were presented with a kids menu, while we were given a vast menu with a fantastic selection. While both children ordered their favourite, margherita pizzas, we chose a starter of sour dough bruschetta with basil pesto, courgettes, and grilled artichokes. The textures and taste was unbelievable.
Our main course comprises of a plant based burger and a celeriac and wild mushroom pie. The plant based burger was delicious, topped with barbecue relish, smoked apple wood cheese, plant based mayonnaise, and crispy chips. The celeriac and wild mushroom pie was accompanied with mashed potatoes, a savoury gravy and red cabbage. Both were made using fresh ingredients and presented to perfection.
The desserts were spectacular and the perfect finish to an already mouth-watering meal. While the children chose the salted caramel ice cream, which they devoured with great enjoyment, we chose a salted caramel affogato and a classic sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. The salted caramel affogato was a combination of salted caramel ice cream, double espresso, and an edible spoon.
We have to say our experience at The Association Restaurant at Hilton London Wembley was nothing shy of spectacular. It was one of the best meals we have enjoyed as a family and we all returned to our room happy and content. The chefs took great care in the preparation of each of our dishes, offering a wide choice for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. They also cater to all dietary requirements. The staff made the meal more enjoyable with their friendly and attentive service, ensuring that we had the most enjoyable dining experience.
We found The Association Restaurant affordable when it comes to providing families with a great dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant when you are next in London, you will not be disappointed.
