Whilst staying at the amazing InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong, one evening we dined at their Cafe on M restaurant which is located on floor M of the hotel. Cafe on M is a buffet and all day dining restaurant that offers a plethora of culinary delights from all around the world. The chefs cooked with flair and style and you could observe them prepare the food in front of your very eyes. The restaurant had a magnificent atmosphere, with glowing accent colours, vibrant patterns, ambient lighting and soothing music that created an atmosphere of luxury and sophistication. Furthermore, they had an extensive variety of dishes from different cuisines to suit every taste, thus making Cafe on M the perfect place for a special occasion. The chic and stylish restaurant offered an unforgettable experience every time, leaving us more than satisfied.

We had informed the hotel that both my wife and I followed a plant based diet and they had agreed to prepare specialist food for us. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find a spread of delicious food that catered for all our needs. Vegetable samosas, vegetable biryani, daal curry and cauliflower curry were all served with chapati. They had also taken the time to consider our children's preferences and had provided Indian grilled chicken and avocado and cucumber sushi. We were truly impressed by the attention to detail and the care they had taken to make sure everyone's needs were met. It was heartening to stay in a hotel that was so understanding and accommodating of our dietary requirements. The portions were ample and we left dinner feeling very content and satisfied.

In addition to the specialist dishes created just for us, the hotel also offered an incredible buffet with dishes from around the world. There were salads of every kind, succulent grilled meats, cold cuts, a wide selection of fish dishes, pork dishes, noodles, and so much more. To top it all off, the dessert range was second to none, and Haagen Dazs ice cream was the crowning glory. The quality and variety of the dishes on offer was exceptional, and all of it was served with a smile. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.

Our kids were so delighted by the amazing sweet desserts and delicious ice creams from Haagan Dazs that they just couldn't contain their excitement! Every few minutes they would run up to the buffet and fill up their bowls with more of their favourite treats. The variety of flavours was remarkable, with something for everyone's taste. We all left dinner feeling extremely stuffed with a big smile on our faces. The atmosphere was truly wonderful, with a warm and welcoming ambience that was perfect for enjoying our meals. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure everyone was comfortable and happy. It was truly a fantastic dining experience and I can honestly say I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing culinary experience. All in all, it was a great evening and I'm sure our kids will be looking forward to another visit soon!
