Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara have taken their younger guests into consideration, while giving parents the opportunity to enjoy the adult facilities and amenities at this five star, luxury resort. The resort offers a Kids Club, the Cool Mint Kids Club, which caters to children aged four to twelve years of age and they have the Teens Club, Peppermint Club, which caters to children aged thirteen and over. Both Clubs are open from 9am to 9pm daily.
The Kids Club at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara is ideally located in the centre of the island, right next to Teds, the American restaurant. The Cool Mint Kids Club offers supervised entertainment for younger guests from the age of four to twelve, enabling parents to sign them in and leave them, so they can relax and enjoy the experience of staying at this luxurious resort.
The Teens Club, known as Peppermint Club, also opens from 9am to 9pm and is a place where teens can play games, including PlayStation, air hockey, table tennis and foosball.
The Cool Mint Kids Club offers a selection of games and experiences for children aged four to twelve years of age, including arts and crafts, from puzzles to colouring, face painting, play dough, building blocks, balloon painting and poster painting. They also offer age appropriate movies in Arabic and English.
They have an impressive three story play area, with soft play in a safe environment, which is supervised by the experienced team of child minders at all times. In addition to this, there is a selection of board and toy games, hula hoops, ball toss and more.
For the teens who are too cool to be seen in a Kids Club, they have their own dedicated club, known as the Peppermint Club. Here teens can make friends with other teens staying at the resort and play some games, which includes billiards, air hockey, PlayStation and Wii games, table tennis, foosball, chess, along with a luxury cinema, which offers English and Arabic movies.
The Club understands that there are younger children staying at the hotel, which ensures that children three years and younger are welcome in the Cool Mint Kids Club, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
The Kids Club offers supervised fun and games both indoors and outdoors, dependent on the weather. These scheduled activities can change if it is too hot and the children are better off in an air conditioned space. It is recommended that all children arrive at the Kids Club with a sun hat and sun protection.
The Kids Club has been specifically designed with younger guests in mind, ensuring that their time at the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara is enjoyable and fun. This large, spacious, open and bright space is dotted with tables and chairs, where children can sit and complete arts and crafts, build blocks or read a book.
The three story indoor play area is impressive and guaranteed to keep children busy for hours. There are climbing frames, bridges, slides and more to navigate through, while the large floor to ceiling windows allow for an abundance of natural light. For younger kids there is an entertainment room with large screen television and comfortable bean bag seating, where they can watch age appropriate movies.
The teens club has been designed to be a cool place, they have their own loft with a range of games from table tennis and gaming consoles to foosball, billiards and air hockey. There is also a luxury cinema, where they can sit back and watch a movie.
