InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort offers a fun and entertaining kids club, known as Planet Trekkers, located on the ground floor, adjacent to the family pool, in the northern part of the resort. This kids club caters to children aged four to twelve from 9am to 8pm daily. They also offer a Teens Club, known as The Hideout, open from 9am to 9pm daily.
The kids club at InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort is a large, two hundred and fifty square metre club house that is fully supervised by an experienced child activity team. The kids club offers activity rooms, a cinema room, cooking area, reading area, along with arts and crafts space and an outdoor playground. The teens club, known as The Hideout, is adjacent to the kids club, offering board games, billiards, and PlayStation games.
This kids club is spacious and bright with floor to ceiling windows offering plenty of natural light. Soft mats are on the floor and large teddy bears line the side. There are televisions on the wall offering age-appropriate films, along with ride on toys, and indoor games and puzzles. As you head outdoors, you are welcomed by a fun climbing frame, along with outdoor toys and games, where children can run, laugh, and make new friends with other children staying at the resort.
There is a daily activity schedule offered by the kids club, along with plenty of free play time between sessions. The schedule does change daily, ensuring children don't get bored. The latest schedule can be collected on arrival. Usually, activities include arts and crafts, origami, drawing and colouring, along with Vietnamese traditional games. They also sometimes have treasure hunts, kite flying, kids yoga, kids cooking classes, leaf art, postcard making and reading sessions.
The team also make use of the resort grounds with beach games, sandcastle building, pool games, and kid camp activities. While food is generally not permitted inside the kids club, it is allowed during the kids cooking programmes, where children learn how to prepare simple Vietnamese dishes, they also offer snacks during cinema time.
