Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel provides entertainment for younger guests with a small indoor kids club, along with a host of outdoor child-friendly activities to enjoy during your stay. The indoor kids club is open daily, offering hours of free play. They also offer scheduled activities during school holidays
While Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel provides a small indoor kids club, it is a delight for children staying at this luxury hotel. The area boasts wooden floors and an abundance of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. It offers entertainment for younger guests with push along toys, a tee-pee tent in the corner with soft matting, and a television on the wall playing age appropriate films.
On the floor in front of the television are colourful bean bags, offering comfortable seating. Kids sized tables and chairs sit against the window, the perfect place to enjoy some arts and crafts, play games, colour, or read a kids book from the shelf under the television that offers a host of games, toys, and books for children to take advantage of when in the kids club. Children have the opportunity to enjoy a space that has been designed with them in mind, offering indoor entertainment away from the hot sunshine, while giving them the chance to interact with other children and have fun.
During the school holidays, the team put a fun and engaging list of scheduled activities together that are offered seven days a week from 10.30am through to 6pm. The scheduled activities include charades, musical chairs, a minute to win it, workout, and fun origami. They also have drawing, world map games, ice lolly making, bookmark making, and shopping bag making. Children can take part in fingerprint painting, lantern making, musical statues, paper plane challenge, ping pong, and flip cup games.

In addition to the indoor kids club, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel has provided a choice of fun outdoor activities for children and their families. Paradise Trails is an experimental outdoor playground, complete with slides, activities, and a canopy walk. Paradise Trails is open daily from 9am to 7pm, offering hours of fun and complimentary access for two children per room staying at the hotel. Additional children are charged on a half or full day access rate.
Children aged four to fifteen can also enjoy wall climbing exper4iences. The one and a half hour wall climbing sessions include safety briefings, equipment, and guided climbs, to ensure safety of children at all times. This is a safe and supervised area that is open from 10am to 11.30am and 5pm to 6.30pm daily. Wall climbing is an excellent activity for children, helping them with co-ordination, strength, and endurance, while improving cognitive function.
On warm days, children can enjoy the wet play area offering endless outdoor fun for younger guests. This play area boasts water features that are safe and entertaining. The water play area is open daily from 7am to 7pm, providing children with a space where they can run, play, and splash, helping them stay cool on hot days. The majority of the child-friendly experiences at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel does require parent supervision, while offering children a chance to let off steam, have fun, and make new friends with other children staying at the hotel.
