Hotel Fairmont The Palm Kids Club

The Kids Club at Hotel Fairmont The Palm is known as the Falcon Club and invites children as young as 18 months to be left in their care. This, obviously, will be discussed with parents on an individual basis to ensure parents are happy that the child is in someone else’s care and that it suits the child to be in this environment. These toddlers and those up to 3 years old are allowed attendance at 65 AED per hour, and those between 3 years and 12 are offered a complimentary 2 hours every day.

All children 7 years and older are required to wear a mask, and strict adherence to the time slots are expected, since the Kids Club sanitises and cleans at specific intervals every day. This can be discussed with management. The Kids Club opens at 10:30am and closes at 7pm, with time slots of 2 hours per session to allow half an hour for cleaning after every 2-hour period. Parents and guardians are advised to book time slots at least 24 hours in advance as space is limited at times.

Kids are offered good space to move around and enjoy free play with the other little ones that attend at the same time. The staff in charge are well versed in dealing with young children and their needs and requirements; therefore activities are offered to appeal to children at their stage of development, with age one of the dominant factors.

Well-Organised and Inviting

Parents that want to leave their children in a safe space during the hours that they need for themselves or during those times that they need to go about their business, are assured that the Kids Club at Hotel Fairmont The Palm meets all expectations in terms of which children are made to feel welcome, given play time, the chance to meet others around their own age and to make new friends.

There are lots of opportunities for free play, storytelling by the experienced staff members on duty – also chances for the very young ones to lose themselves in their own make-believe world. Staff are helpful and friendly and very experienced with regard to making the children feel welcome, looking after them and keeping them occupied for hours.

Fairly strict policies ensure that children are safe and well looked after, such as requesting parents not to leave Hotel Fairmont The Palm while their child attends the Kids Club. Children must bring their own snacks and drinks along, and it is advised to make sure parents know what is allowed in the Kids Club, and what not.

Keeping Young Minds Interested and Occupied

Children are given great opportunities to play, to mix with others, discover the world around them through storytelling, and sensory input helps them grow and develop their awareness of the word around them as they touch objects and  learn about colours. Arts and crafts, puzzles and climbing walls, soft toys and dolls, construction toys, movie time and video games are some of the activities on offer. All of this takes place in a clean, colourful environment which helps to brighten up your young one’s time away from you.
