Mandarin Oriental Bodrum offers a kids club, MO Explorers Club, keeping younger guests aged four to twelve entertained from 9am to 8pm. Younger children are welcome under parental supervision. There is also a Teens Club, known as MO Originals, catering to teens aged thirteen to seventeen.
The kids club at Mandarin Oriental Bodrum is located adjacent to the organic garden, in a separate villa, only three hundred metres from the main resort, accessible via private golf cart transfers. For parents peace of mind, it is managed by four experienced staff members, of which two are multilingual educators, one is a marine biology specialist, and the other is the hotel's resident artist. Children go through biometric check in and check out, along with live GPS tracking for any outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
This kids club offers a spacious one hundred and twenty square metre, air conditioned indoor area, and a two hundred square metre outdoor area, that includes a private beach area and floating deck. They do provide scheduled activities, which is one hundred percent tailored, based on activities selected via the a la carte MO app. The kids club also includes organic fruit platters from the resorts garden, along with Freshly baked Turkish bagels with honey. If your child has any allergies, please let a team member know, there is a personal chef for consultations.
Children know they have arrived in a special space when they first arrive at MO Explorers Club. It is brightly coloured indoors, complete with wooden walls and red carpeting. There are plenty of kids sized tables and chairs for games and arts and crafts. The floor to ceiling windows allow an abundance of natural light to flow through the club. There are also toy houses where children can play and socialise with other children staying at the resort. The outdoors area is fully lawned and includes a wooden climbing frame with rope ladders, along with slides and swings.
While the schedule changes based on parental selection via the MO app, common daily activities include herb garden planting, ceramic painting, microscope studies, Turkish delight making, and storytelling. They also offer calligraphy workshops, perfume blending, private yacht knot-tying, archery, and pashmina painting. The resorts “Play & Kids” programme focuses on education and entertainment. The indoor area includes a professional microscope station and a 3D printer, while outdoors is a floating classroom and organic pizza oven. Some of the games available include VR headsets for underwater exploration, iPad Pros for digital art, hand-carved backgammon sets, and custom MO-themed board games. For the teens, they can take part in GoPro video editing workshops, sunset photography master-classes, along with mixology classes, creating mocktails. In addition to the excellent kids club provided by Mandarin Oriental Bodrum, the resort also offers a babysitting service, designated children's swimming pool, along with children's menus in some of the restaurants, along with room service.
