Melia Phuket Mai Khao offers a fun and engaging kids club, known as Kidsdom, providing supervised entertainment to children aged 3 to 12 years of age.
Melia Phuket Mai Khao kids club offers fully supervised entertainment for younger guests with a team of trained staff who engage and entertain the children during their time in the kids club. Children under the age of 3 are welcome when accompanied by an adult. The team provide a full range of activities throughout the day, ensuring children are always entertained and enjoying their time in Phuket, whether its a creative workshop, arts and crafts, or a fun game. They change the daily activities to ensure that children always have a new experience every time they spend time in the kids club. While the resort does not provide a Teens Club, there is a games lounge that teens are welcome to make use of during their stay.
This kids club is bright and spacious, designed with nature in mind, it has wooden floors and nature filled walls with hills, sky, and clouds painted on the walls. There are shelves lining the walls that are brimming with books, toys, games, and puzzles, along with a lovely reading nook under the shelves with soft cushions, when children need some quiet time. The white kids-sized tables and chairs are used for scheduled activities, while the flat screen television mounted on the wall plays age-appropriate films. There is also a fun mat where children can play with soft cars and houses, building their own town.
The kids club team put together an extensive list of scheduled activities for younger guests, with the schedule changing daily to avoid the risk of boredom. Some activities include painting, arts and crafts, interactive workshops and games, creative projects, along with group activities designed based on the age group of the children using the kids club. The team focus on providing fun experiences for the children, with engaging activities that may include mini tournaments, treasure hunts, and friendly competitions, providing children with a chance to be active, engage, and make new friends with other children staying at the resort.
The team do encourage children participation when they using the kids club, getting them to take part in different activities during their stay, while parents get a chance to enjoy the adult facilities and amenities provided by the resort. The resort does offer in-suite or in-villa babysitting services at an additional charge with prior booking required. In addition to the kids club, the resort offers a range of family-friendly activities from spending the day at the beach or splashing in the kids pool, to making sandcastles on the beach or horse riding. They also offer Thai boxing classes for children. Overall, Melia Phuket Mai Khao offers families a fun, exciting, and bonding experience when staying at this luxury resort.
