Midtown Shangri-La, Hangzhou provide younger guests with K20 activities to keep them entertained and busy. While not actually a kids club, they do cater to younger guests aged six to twelve years of age, providing them with a full range of fun activities in the hotel lobby, close to the Central Market entrance.

Full Range of Fun Family Activities

The kids activities, known as K20 activities includes a full range of fun activities, along with a sports camp, that is offered by an outside third party company. The kids activities keep younger guests entertained, ensuring that they have an enjoyable holiday experience when staying at Midtown Shangri-La, Hangzhou. The activities change each month with careful consideration to ensure that children learn something new and have hours of fun.

Some of the activities children can enjoy when staying at Midtown Shangri-La, Hangzhou includes hand painted hammered mugs, non plastic doll colouring, cream glue custom picture frames, sandwich making, hand woven hat making, twist rod lily of the valley night lights, handmade beating experiences, ice cream stick stationary holders, doughnut making and handmade dream catchers.

There is a charge for the K20 family packages with one adult and one child under the age of eleven charged at RMB298 and two adults and one child under the age of eleven charged at RMB 488.  The price included a buffet lunch and themed courses throughout the day.

Summer Sports Camp

Working alongside a third party company, the Midtown Shangri-La, Hangzhou offer young guests a summer sports camp that includes soccer, basketball, kids fit and swimming. This accommodates children aged four to ten years of age.

The summer sports camp is a great way to get children active, outdoors and having fun, while meeting other children staying at the hotel. The summer sports camp caters to all levels and includes water safety, fun afternoons, balance improvements and reaction time improvements. It works to improve hand eye coordination and boost confidence.
